Vegan Design: How You Can Benefit From Going Green?
“Going green,” has been a universal movement that has changed our planet and the lives of many people for years.
What does “going green,” actually mean?
Well, according to (http://www.all-recycling-facts.com) “going green means to live life, as an individual as well as a community, in a way that is friendly to the natural environment and is sustainable for the earth.
It means contributing towards maintaining the natural ecological balance in the environment, and preserving the planet and its natural systems and resources.
It also means taking steps, whether big or small, to minimize the harm you do to the environment (including the carbon footprints you leave behind), as a result of inhabiting this planet. “
In practice, going green means adopting five basic principles in your daily life:

But why not continue this state of mind into areas that make a larger impact?
What if you could make a bigger difference, and physically start to feel the difference?
There are so many ways to take this movement and apply it further into your daily life that influences our environment, the treatment of animals around the world, and makes an impact on our health and well being.
As a consumer, we tend to be misled into what we are actually buying. When we read buzzwords like, “healthy,” or “natural,” we have no idea that there were hundreds of animals tortured and slaughtered to make our products more beautiful. We also have no idea that most of the workers essential in making these products have adapted toxic working conditions to do so.
When these issues finally came to light for me, this changed my mentality as a woman, a business owner, and a consumer.
These comments are just skimming the surface into what we as humans have done to our planet and the beautiful creatures that try to survive it, and this includes each one of us.
We may have been kept in the dark about these inhumane conditions, but now is the time to make a change.
As a culture we have developed more diseases and allergies than ever before. Over half of Americans have an illness. Between the food that we eat, the fabrics and chemicals we absorb into our bodies and bring into our home, these are the contributing factors into what is making us sick.
For example, leather is soaked in toxic chemicals, which is later penetrated into our skin which can cause illnesses. For people with sensory issues such as Autism, they tend to be more sensitive to touch and smell. Faux alternatives alone are gentler on the senses.
Again, this is just the beginning of the change that needs to come and for how you can start to educate yourself on all of these topics.

We are happy to take you on this journey of “going green,” and making your #Greenprint on your life. Your health and well being is so important, and together we will all make a change into the products we buy, and hold companies accountable to stop producing these inhumane products.
